Dr Allison Davies - MBChB (Edinburgh) 1980, DRCOG, MRCGP. First year of full registration 1981

Allison was brought up on the Island of Harris in the Western Isles. After schooling in Inverness, she completed her medical training in Edinburgh where she undertook her pre-registration house jobs. Thereafter she did a large part of her General Practice training in Argyll before moving to Aberdeenshire where she worked for two and a half years doing locum work in rural practice.

She joined Taynuilt Medical Practice as a partner in 1987 and has worked full time ever since. Along with the other partners, Allison provides general medical, family planning and obstetric services to our patient population. She is involved with training Registrars and undergraduate medical students and is one of the practice trainers as appointed by the West of Scotland Postgraduate Education Board.
